Project Special™ has features that help you:

Organize and print important state reports, letters, and IEPs.
Project Special™ automatically helps you create worksheets and final reports for Application for State School Aid (ASSA), Annual Data Report (Annual Plan), and June End-of-Year Reports.

Project Special™ can create Custom, State Approved, or District Approved letters. It can also be use to merge with any districts custom word processed letter or memo. The Software allows a district to meet any federal or state change with a minimal amount of administration.

Project Special™ can generate it own state compliant standard or speech IEP. Project Special™ is also compliant with the Federal Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). Project Special™ can also be merged with any district custom word processed IEP. As you can see Project Special™ is flexible enough to transcend any new or up coming federal or state regulation change.
Track Legal Compliance, step by step.

Pupil data includes all required dates for all conferences and parent consent forms on a timeline screen. The Project Special™ timeline allows you to see where you are as you proceed through the IEP process.
Core Curriculum Content Standards and the New Jersey Department of Education's Frameworks.

Project Special™ includes the State of New Jersey's Core Curriculum Content Standards. The Core Curriculum Content Standards cover seven content areas and are the State of New Jersey's representation of the knowledge and skills that New Jersey students are expected to know and be able to do by the time they graduate from high school.

Project Special™ includes the New Jersey Department of Education's Frameworks. This inclusion of Frameworks into Project Special™ is to provide all teachers a resource to guide the design of their lesson plans and insure mastery of the Core Curriculum Content Standards.

The use of Project Special™ and its support files will help ensure that your district is compliant with the use of the Department of Educations' Standards.

Share information back and forth with your database manager, team members, or special education teachers.
Many different lists and report formats can be use to help you share and manage your pupils database. In addition, you can "export" and "import" information with many leading attendance management systems such as SASI and STARBASE with the click of a button. This exchange of information is critical with day-to-day district wide pupil tracking and reduce administration of sharing information across products.
Professional Development Provider.

Computer Consulting Group is a registered as a Department of Education Professional Development Provider. Training provided by Computer Consulting Group on or about Project Special™ is eligible for credit toward the 100 hours of Professional Development teachers are required to receive every five years. A certificate is issued upon completion of any training with the number of credit hours.

Windows and Mac Support.

Project Special™ runs natively on Windows based PC or Macintosh. Please note the minimum system requirements for Project Special™ under the computer administrator. Project Special™ will also run as a thin client* or across the web*. Project Special™ is the most flexible solution on the market.

*Additional hardware and software purchase are necessary to perform these advanced functions. Not all Project Special™ functions will be supported with some advance features. Contact us for more information. You will also need support staff to support these advanced functions.

Security.

Project Special™ uses a three tier security system to stop hackers. Tier one is built in networking. No need for network shares that can allow a person access to Project Special™'s database files directly. Tier II is a physical security measure. A license key is required at each work station to allow access to Project Special™. Tier III is a set of password levels in the program to allow certain people access to only certain parts of the program. Project Special™'s three tiers of security excedes the state of New Jersey's recommended security for protecting classified student information.
